What do you offer for breakfast?
Our breakfast includes a full warm South African breakfast with eggs, bacon, sausage. Sides usually include mushrooms or beans cereal. We also offer fresh cut fruit, cereal, yoghurt, toast and jams.
Products grown or produced on our small holding include honey, jams and fruits when in season such as avocado. Our eggs come from our own free-range chicken.
Is breakfast included in the room rate?
Our rates are usually advertised on a room only or self-catering basis. You can always add breakfast at your convenience for an extra fee. As of June 2025, breakfast is R130 per person.
When should breakfast be booked?
Breakfast can be ordered for an extra charge with 1 day notice, please order & pay before 1800.
When is breakfast served?
Breakfast time is served at the time of your liking between 0630 and 0830.
Do you serve breakfast earlier than 0630?
For early risers, breakfast packs, brought to your room the day before, are available. Exceptionally, for group bookings, we may be able to accommodate early breakfast at 0600. Advance arrangements are essential.
Can you serve breakfast for school groups?
We regularly serve breakfast for school groups visiting for sports. To expedite breakfast service, we prepare a breakfast in advance and guests can self-serve buffet style. We prepare eggs scrambled instead of to order, so everyone can eat at the same time and be on the road promptly.
Can you cater for dietary needs?
Yes, please let us know in advance and we’ll do our best to meet your requirements.
Do you accommodate guests who do not eat pork for breakfast?
Yes, we can accommodate you if you do not eat pork. We can substitute our pork products for alternatives such as beef sausages or chicken rashers.

Do you accommodate Halal guests for breakfast?
Yes, we can adjust our breakfast to accommodate our Halal customers. We stock Halal certified meats, and we can substitute pork products like bacon for beef or chicken rashers. Please be aware that our kitchen caters for all customers nonetheless.

Is the guest house breakfast suitable for families and children?
Absolutely. In addition to the hot breakfast we also offer cereal, hot chocolate, yoghurt and fruits for children to enjoy.
