What are Year-Round Kruger Safari Essentials?

We recommend you take these essential items for your Kruger Park Safari, regardless of the season:


  • Long-sleeve shirt

  • Cotton t-shirts and breathable clothing

  • Sun cream / sunscreen / sunblock

  • Comfortable shoes (preferably closed toe shoes)

  • Trousers or long pants

  • Lightweight jacket (even in the summer)

  • Waterproof jacket

  • Sunglasses

  • Hat


This list is strictly for a standard vehicle based safari for a few couple of days. Should you be doing a walking safari the essential list would be different.
