What kind of type electricity plug socket is available in ilanda Guest House rooms?

At ilanda Guest House all our rooms have multiple plug sockets with a combination of Type M (RSA Socket), Type C & Type N (Europlug), Type F (Shucko) and at least 1 socket with double USB connector to charge your phone. 

Our room have a slightly different layout, but this general explanation should help you find all the plug sockets you need.

Plug Socket with USB Connector

Did you forget your phone power brick? No problem, as long as you have your standard USB cable, just plug in directly into our socket with double USB connector.

You’ll find this USB socket under the desk or next to the bed night-stand.

If you are using USB-C to USB-C cable, you will need your own adaptor or power brick.

Socket for Schuko "Type F" plugs

All our rooms have a hairdryer which uses a Schuko “Type F” plug. The socket is usually under the desk and has space for a single Schuko plug.

South African Type M sockets & Type N “Europlug” sockets

You will also find a combination of Type M and Type N sockets in the room.

Other plugs and sockets?

If travelling from overseas, we still recommend travelling with a Type M travel adaptor. 

Standard South African travellers should have their plugs and socket needs met. If you have many devices or specific devices, please come with your own multi-plug extension.
