Bagdad Centre in White River

Bagdad Centre is one of the original lifestyle centres in White River. 

It houses the lovely Citrus, the indian Restaurant of White River. Their curries are lovely and the possibly have the best burger in town. 

The centre is in a transition phase but keep an eye out for new developments, inluding the blueberry padstal (farmstall) being built at the entrance of Bagdad, next to the roundabout.

Today, Casterbridge Lifestyle Centre, its counterpart on the other side of the road is more famous and popular, but originally Picasso’s Mexican Taqueria and Zanna’s Flavor were both located in Bagdad Centre.

The popular Favourite Asian Food restaurant which was located in Bagdad Centre has now moved to a lovely location in Bahati Centre, opposite the Crossing White River Mall.

Where is Badgad Centre Located?

Bagdad Centre is located on the only roundabout in town where the R40 to Hazyview and the R538 to Numbi Gate meet. Opposite Bagdad you’ll find Casterbridge Lifestyle Centre.
