Cythna Letty Nature Reserve

Cythna Letty Nature Reserve is located near Barberton in Mpumalanga and protects indigenous forest, grassland and riverine habitats along the Lomati River. The reserve is best known for its well-maintained hiking trails and scenic landscapes within the Barberton mountain region. It plays an important role in conserving biodiversity associated with the ancient Barberton Greenstone Belt and supports a variety of bird species, plant communities and smaller wildlife. The reserve is managed primarily for conservation and outdoor recreation, with hiking being the main visitor activity.
