Verloren Valei Nature Reserve

Verloren Valei Nature Reserve is a high-altitude wetland reserve in Mpumalanga and a Ramsar Wetland of International Importance. It protects peatlands, grasslands and wetlands that are critical for water regulation and support diverse birdlife, including threatened species. The reserve is managed primarily for conservation and research.
