Loskop Dam Nature Reserve

Loskop Dam Nature Reserve surrounds the expansive Loskop Dam on the Olifants River, north of Middelburg in Mpumalanga. Covering more than 23,000 hectares, the reserve protects a diverse mix of bushveld, floodplains and rocky hills. It supports a variety of wildlife, including antelope species, giraffe, zebra, white rhinoceros and abundant birdlife. The large dam also makes the reserve popular for fishing and water-based activities, combining conservation value with recreation.
