Jericho Dam Nature Reserve

Jericho Dam Nature Reserve is located near Lydenburg (Mashishing) in Mpumalanga and protects grassland and wetland habitats surrounding Jericho Dam. The reserve is primarily valued for waterbird conservation, angling and quiet outdoor recreation. It forms part of the upper Olifants River catchment and contributes to local biodiversity conservation, although visitor facilities and publicly available information are limited.
