Berlin Forest Nature Reserve

Berlin Forest Nature Reserve is located near White River in Mpumalanga and protects indigenous forest, grassland and wetland habitats. The reserve is particularly known for its botanical diversity and birdlife, including forest-dependent species. It plays an important role in conserving remaining patches of natural forest in the Lowveld and serves as a quiet outdoor space for walking, birdwatching and environmental education. Berlin Forest is managed primarily for conservation rather than tourism and has limited visitor facilities.
